"Kremenchukvodokanal" Hosts First Working Meeting Under NEFCO’s
"Green Recovery for Ukraine — Phase II" Program
UC
"Kremenchukvodokanal" hosted the initial working meeting within the
framework of cooperation between the Kremenchuk City Council, the enterprise,
and the Nordic Environment Finance Corporation (NEFCO) under the "Green
Recovery for Ukraine — Phase II" Program.
The main focus of the meeting
was the project "Construction of a
new water intake and water treatment plant on the Right Bank of
Kremenchuk."
The session brought together
representatives of the Kremenchuk City Council, specialists from UC "Kremenchukvodokanal,"
NEFCO experts, and consultants from the international engineering firm Danish
Energy Management (DEM).
During the meeting,
participants discussed the current status of project preparation, conducted an
on-site visit to the facility, and agreed on the next steps for implementation.
This marks an essential stage
in project preparation — moving from assessing existing infrastructure and
identifying needs to formulating concrete technical and financial solutions.
Moving forward, joint work
will focus on advancing this critical project aimed at modernizing Kremenchuk’s
water supply system, boosting its reliability, energy efficiency, and overall
energy independence.
