World Day for Safety and Health at Work
World Day for Safety and Health at Work is observed on April 28, 2026.
This year’s theme is: "A
Favorable Psychosocial Work Environment: The Path to Employee Prosperity and a
Strong Organization."
Today, occupational safety is much more than just a helmet,
high-visibility clothing, or a safety harness. It is a comprehensive system of
caring for people. Alongside physical safety, an employee’s psychological state
— their peace of mind, focus, and confidence — is equally important. Attention
to detail, reaction speed, and the ability to make the right decisions at
critical moments all depend on it.
At Kremenchukvodokanal,
occupational health and safety (OHS) is of paramount importance. The daily work
of our employees involves increased risks: maintenance of water supply and
sewage networks, handling high-voltage electrical equipment, and working in confined
spaces and challenging environments where the cost of an error is far too high.
The efforts of our Occupational Health and Safety Department go beyond
merely enforcing rules. Above all, it is about risk prevention, raising
awareness, and fostering a culture of safety where every employee understands
potential hazards and knows how to avoid them.
The OHS Department of Kremenchukvodokanal
urges everyone not to ignore safety requirements. Remember: there are no small
details when it comes to safety. Every rule is written to ensure you return
home safe and sound.
Take care of yourselves, look out for your colleagues — and may your
workplace always be a zone of comfort and safety.
