World Water Day
Water and Gender — Where There Is Water, Equality Grows
Today, the world marks World Water Day. In 2026, its theme is “Water and Gender.” It is a reminder that access to clean water is not a privilege, but a basic human right for everyone, regardless of gender or profession.
For water utility workers, this day holds special meaning. Behind every drop from your tap is the coordinated daily work of a large team, where everyone matters:
• emergency crews who ensure the stable operation of networks in any weather, day and night
• laboratory technicians and operators who monitor the quality and safety of drinking water and wastewater treatment every day
• dispatch service and customer service staff who stay constantly in touch with consumers
• employees of water intakes, treatment facilities, energy services, and all those who ensure the uninterrupted operation of the enterprise
We are proud that in our team, professionalism has no gender. We are united by a common goal — to ensure reliable water supply for households, social institutions, and businesses in the city.
Clean water at home means comfort and the opportunity to study, work, and grow without unnecessary concerns.
Let us remember:
caring for water is everyone’s contribution to our shared future.
